Plaisirs de Pégase

Chantal Pégaz-Gajowka, steward of Domaine Baron de l’Ecluse, works in close collaboration with her brother and sister-in-law.

Anthelme and Agnès Pégaz are vinegrower-winemakers on the estate in Charentay that has been in the family for 6 generations.

Together, they have created the brand “Plaisirs de Pégase”, bringing you a full range of wines that can be under the same label or under the label of each estate, with:

• White Beaujolais-Villages 2009
• This straw-coloured citrusy wine is a limited edition
• €5.30 per bottle
• €30 per case of 6 bottles.

• Rosé Beaujolais-Villages 2008
• A lovely salmon pink robe
• Enjoy this fresh, easy wine as an aperitif and with your al fresco meals
• €4.30 per bottle.
• €25 per case of 6 bottles.

          N.B. 2009 Beaujolais-Villages Rosé will only be bottled in June 2010

• Cellaring Red Beaujolais-Villages 2009
• Ruby robe, strawberry and raspberry aromas and flavours, supple on the palate.
• Enjoy from in 3 years*
• €5.50 per bottle
• €30 per case of 6 bottles.

• Brouilly 2008
• A clean, forthright wine with slight tartness.
• Enjoy in the next 2 years* 
• €6.30  per bottle
• €36 per case of 6 bottles.

• Brouilly 2009
• A complex, silky and long wine with a deep robe and blackberry and black currant aromas and flavours.
• It is better to cellar it for 5 or 6 years before enjoying it* 
        and Côte de Brouilly by Domaine Baron de l'Ecluse as described previously.

*the cellaring times given are from 2010.
